Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your air fryer to 400°F for 3-4 minutes.
  • Rinse the asparagus spears under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.
  • Trim the woody ends by snapping each spear where it naturally breaks.
  • Place the trimmed spears in a bowl and spray them with avocado oil, tossing to coat.
  • In a small bowl, mix garlic powder, Himalayan pink salt, peppercorns, and red pepper flakes.
  • Sprinkle the seasoning over the asparagus and toss until well-coated.

Cooking

  • Arrange asparagus in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  • Air fry for 6-8 minutes, checking at the 6-minute mark for doneness.
  • Remove from air fryer and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese before serving.
  • Serve immediately.

Notes

To ensure the best results, always preheat the air fryer and avoid overcrowding the basket. Adding a squeeze of lemon juice before serving can enhance flavor.
