  • 15.25 oz box vanilla cake mix This will be the velvety base of your cake.
  • 1 cup chocolate syrup Adds rich chocolate flavor.
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts Optional for added crunch.
  • 1 cup shredded coconut Choose sweetened or unsweetened as per preference.
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter Melted to drizzle over the cake mix.

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven as directed on the cake mix box.
  • Slice the bananas and spread them evenly across the bottom of your prepared baking dish.
  • Pour the drained crushed pineapple over the bananas, ensuring it’s spread out evenly.

Assembly

  • Evenly distribute the dry vanilla cake mix over the pineapple layer without stirring.
  • Pour the chocolate syrup over the cake mix, covering as much as possible.
  • Sprinkle the chopped walnuts and shredded coconut on top.

Baking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes or until golden and bubbly.

Notes
