  • 1 teaspoon Salt Adjust to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon Pepper Adjust to taste

For the Salmon

  • 4 filets Salmon filets Fresh and high-quality preferred
  • 2 medium Fresh peaches Juicy and ripe

Instructions

Preparation

  • In a medium-sized bowl, combine bourbon syrup, peach jam, olive oil, salt, and pepper. Stir gently until well blended.
  • Submerge salmon filets in the marinade, ensuring they are fully coated. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
  • While the salmon is marinating, preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Place the marinated salmon filets on the prepared sheet, ensuring they are spaced apart.
  • Slice fresh peaches into wedges and scatter them around the salmon.

Cooking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes until the salmon is golden brown and cooked through.
  • Serve warm, allowing everyone to enjoy the caramelized glaze with the tender peaches.

Notes

Avoid overcooking the salmon; it should reach an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C). Allow enough time for marinating to enhance flavors.
