Ingredients

Dough

  • 1 package refrigerated pizza dough or homemade

Filling

  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup sliced pepperoni
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning

Topping

  • 1 egg beaten (for egg wash)
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds or poppy seeds optional for garnish

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Unroll the refrigerated pizza dough on a lightly floured surface and stretch it slightly.
  • In a bowl, combine the mozzarella cheese, pepperoni, cream cheese, Parmesan cheese, and Italian seasoning. Mix until well combined.
  • Spread the filling evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges. Roll the dough into a log shape and pinch the seams to seal.
  • Slice the roll into 1-inch pieces and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Brush the tops with the beaten egg and sprinkle with sesame seeds or poppy seeds, if desired.

Baking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, or until golden brown.
