Instructions

Preparation

  • Begin by peeling and deveining the shrimp. Rinse them under cold water and pat them dry.
  • Mince the garlic cloves finely and chop the spinach into bite-sized pieces.

Cooking

  • In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about a minute until fragrant.
  • Add the shrimp to the skillet. Season with salt, pepper, and paprika. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until pink and opaque. Remove and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, pour in the heavy cream and bring it to a gentle simmer. Add the chopped spinach and cook for 2-3 minutes until wilted.
  • Stir well, adjust seasoning if needed, and return the shrimp to the skillet. Heat through for about a minute before serving.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately with lemon wedges.

Notes

For added flavor, consider lemon juice in the sauce. To spice it up, add red pepper flakes. For a lighter version, substitute with milk or cashew cream.
