Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 1 box box of cake mix (any flavor you prefer, such as vanilla, chocolate, or red velvet) For a gluten-free version, opt for gluten-free cake mix.
  • 2 large large eggs
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil Can substitute with melted coconut oil for a healthier option.
  • 1 cup chocolate chips Can also use any mix-ins like nuts or sprinkles.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract Optional, but enhances flavor.

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the cake mix, eggs, and vegetable oil. Stir until the ingredients meld into a thick, slightly sticky dough.
  • Fold in the chocolate chips (or your chosen mix-ins) with a spatula.
  • Using a tablespoon or cookie scoop, drop rounded balls of dough onto a parchment-lined baking sheet, leaving about 2 inches of space between each cookie.

Baking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
  • Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

These cookies are best enjoyed as an occasional treat. Pair with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for an elevated experience. To keep cookies fresh, store them in an airtight container at room temperature.
