Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Line an 8×8-inch pan with parchment paper, letting the edges hang over for easy lifting.
  • In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter until smooth.
  • Stir in the granulated and brown sugars until glossy.
  • Whisk in the eggs and vanilla extract until fully combined.
  • Sift in cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder, mixing until just combined.
  • Fold in chocolate chips and half of the chopped Oreos.
  • Pour batter into the prepared pan.
  • Top with remaining chopped Oreos.

Baking

  • Bake for 30-35 minutes until a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs.
  • Allow to cool completely before slicing into squares.
  • Optionally drizzle with warmed chocolate or serve with ice cream.
