Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat.
  • Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet and cook until softened, about 2-3 minutes.
  • Stir in the green beans, cream of mushroom soup, and sour cream. Mix until well combined.
  • Remove from heat and stir in 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese.
  • Transfer the mixture into a greased 9x13-inch baking dish and spread it evenly.
  • Top with the remaining ½ cup of shredded cheddar cheese and 1½ cups of crispy fried onions.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until bubbly and golden brown.
  • Let sit for a few minutes before serving.
