Instructions

Preparation

  • Pat the thinly sliced chicken breasts dry and season both sides generously with salt and pepper.

Cooking

  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the chicken slices and cook until golden brown on each side, about 3-4 minutes.
  • Reduce the heat to medium and add butter to the skillet. Once melted, toss in the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  • Add the sliced mushrooms to the pan and cook, stirring occasionally, until they are tender and lightly browned, approximately 5 minutes.
  • Pour in the honey and soy sauce, stirring well to coat the chicken and mushrooms evenly. Let this mixture simmer for 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens and turns glossy.
