Ingredients

For the naan pizza

  • 2 pieces naan bread Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside.
  • 1/2 cup marinara or pesto sauce Adds a rich flavor base.
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved Sweet and juicy for a burst of freshness.
  • 1 cup fresh mozzarella, sliced or torn Creamy and melts beautifully.
  • to taste fresh basil leaves Fragrant herb to elevate flavors.
  • 1 tbsp olive oil Adds richness and depth.
  • to taste balsamic glaze For drizzling, adds tangy sweetness.
  • to taste salt & black pepper Essential for well-rounded flavor.

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place the naan on it.
  • Spoon the marinara or pesto sauce evenly over each naan.
  • Top each naan with fresh mozzarella slices and halved cherry tomatoes. Sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste.

Baking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 8-10 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and the edges of the naan are golden and crisp.

Finishing Touch

  • Once baked, remove from the oven. Add the fresh basil leaves, drizzle with olive oil and balsamic glaze, slice and serve warm!

Notes

For added flavor, include garlic in the sauce or add grilled chicken for protein. Experiment with different cheeses or balsamic glazes for unique variations.
