Instructions

Preparation

  • Place the softened cream cheese in a large mixing bowl and add the shredded cheddar cheese and grated Parmesan cheese.
  • Sprinkle in the garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika (if using), salt, and black pepper. Combine until creamy.

Forming the Cheese Ball

  • Spoon the cheese mixture onto a large piece of plastic wrap and form it into a ball shape.
  • Wrap tightly and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.

Coating the Cheese Ball

  • Remove the cheese ball from the refrigerator and roll it in the crushed pecans or walnuts.

Decorating

  • Insert two small pretzels for antlers, add candy eyes or chocolate chips for eyes, and place a red candy for the nose.

Serving

Notes

Chill for at least 2 hours for best results. You can substitute walnuts with your favorite nuts or different cheeses. Freshly grated cheese provides better flavor.
