Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper or silicone mats.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the sourdough starter with the melted butter or oil until well combined.

  • Fold in the shredded cheddar cheese evenly throughout the dough.
  • Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and roll it out to about ⅛-inch thickness.
  • Cut the dough into 1-2 inch squares or rectangles, or use cookie cutters for fun shapes.
  • Transfer the cut crackers to the prepared baking sheets, spacing them about ½ inch apart.

Baking
